The journal publishes a variety of article types: Original Research, Review, Communication, Opinion, Comment, Conference Report, Technical Note, Book Review, etc.

There is no restriction on paper length, provided that the text is concise and comprehensive. Authors should present their results in as much detail as possible, as reviewers are encouraged to emphasize scientific rigor and reproducibility.

The section of the journal OBM Integrative and Complementary Medicine aim to publish the high-quality papers that describe the development and advancement of physiotherapy through publication of research and scholarly work concerned with theoretical basis, clinical application, services and policy. Physiotherapy helps to enhance patients’ physical activity and functional movement recovery and improve the muscle strength, cardiopulmonary function and daily functional capacity. Coverage includes specific exercises, manual therapy, manipulation, mechanical devices, physical therapy and functional training and so on.
