We aim to build high standard international academic journals and strive to provide a friendly and freely-accessible platform for researchers all over the world to present their research achievements and to exchange their ideas. We are seeking outstanding scholars, who are also interested in academic journals and editorial commitments, to work with us, to launch and develop leading journals in the area of biological, biomedical and medical research. We welcome and appreciate your support in any form below:

1. Joining Us as Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief is the most senior position in Academic Editors. Term of an Editor-in-Chief is 2 years with an option to be renewed.

       
 

Responsibilities

  • Determine scope and direction of the journal;
  • Recommend Editorial Board members;
  • Provide feedback timely and to launch the journal with editorial team’s assistance;
  • Supervise the journal in technique and to improve its scientific content;
  • Pre-check and make decision on manuscripts and to ensure quality of publications;
  • Decide development strategy of the journal each year;
  • Be actively involved in promoting the journal development and public awareness.
 

Selection Criteria

  • A Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree;
  • A distinguished record of research in the related areas of the applied journal;
  • A strong publishing history in international journals with high citations;
  • Excellent ability of using English;
  • Adequate time flexibility to take editorial works;
  • Good leadership and management skills;
  • Previous editorial experience is preferred.

 

2. Joining Us as an Editorial Board Member

Editorial Board plays an important role in maintaining the quality and promote the development of a journal. The term of an Editorial Board member is 2 years with an option to be renewed.

       
 

Responsibilities

  • Provide suggestion to the Editor-in-Chief regarding to the scope and direction of the journal;
  • Provide technical support and professional advice to promote scientific content of the journal;
  • Recommend other experts to join Editorial Board;
  • Review certain number of manuscript, especially when reviewers provide conflicting recommendations;
  • Make decision on manuscripts, especially when Editor-in-Chief or other Academic Editors have conflicts of interest with authors;
  • Be actively involved in discussion and finalization on strategic plan and long-term achievement of the journal with Editor-in-Chief and other Editorial Board members;
  • Be actively involved in promoting the journal development and public awareness.
 

Selection Criteria

  • A Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree;
  • An excellent record of research in the related areas of the applied journal;
  • A strong publishing history in international journals;
  • Competent English ability if not native;
  • Previous experience as a journal editor is preferred.
 

 

3. Joining Us as a Guest Editor

Special issue is an important component of the LIDSEN journals, which collect highly important and novel study findings in certain field. Special issues are usually edited by recognized experts in the area.

       
 

Responsibilities

  • Define the scope and prepare a brief introduction of the special issue;
  • Be actively involved in article invitation and selection;
  • Pre-check the manuscripts that submitted to the special issue;
  • Make decision on manuscripts of the special issue based on reviewers’ comments;
  • Be actively involved in promoting the special issue and public awareness.
 

Selection Criteria

  • A Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree;
  • An excellent record of research in the related areas of the applied journal;
  • A strong publishing history in international journals;
  • Competent English ability if not native;
  • Adequate time flexibility to take editorial works of special issue;
  • Experience as a journal editor is preferred.

 

4. Joining Us as a Voluntary Reviewer

Peer review is a process and opportunity that scholars equally discuss scientific opinions, which promotes the research capabilities of both. We welcome active scholars to join our reviewer bank and regularly communicate with others. We will also select Editorial Board member or Guest Editor from active and qualified reviewers.

       
 

Responsibilities

  • Review assigned manuscripts timely and to provide unbiased review reports;
  • Treat manuscripts confidentially;
  • Avoid judging papers with competing interest;
  • Keep the editorial team informed of the review progress.
 

Selection Criteria

  • A Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree;
  • A strong publishing history in international journals;
  • Competent English ability if not native;
  • Adequate time flexibility to perform a timely, thorough and unbiased peer review.
