About This Topic
Pain management remains one of the most challenging and multidisciplinary areas in modern healthcare. Physiotherapy plays a central role in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions, integrating evidence-based approaches with patient-centered care. This Special Issue aims to explore innovative strategies, clinical applications, and emerging research in the field of physiotherapy and pain management.
We invite researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to submit original research articles, systematic reviews, narrative reviews, and clinical studies addressing the mechanisms, assessment, rehabilitation, and integrative treatment of pain. Topics may include musculoskeletal pain, neurological rehabilitation, chronic pain syndromes, manual therapy, exercise therapy, complementary approaches, digital rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary interventions.
The Special Issue welcomes contributions that advance scientific knowledge, improve clinical practice, and promote integrative and complementary medicine perspectives in pain management. Interdisciplinary collaborations and translational research are particularly encouraged.
We look forward to receiving high-quality submissions that contribute to the growing evidence supporting physiotherapy in pain care.
