Section Introduction

The section of the journal OBM Integrative and Complementary Medicine is devoted to publishing high quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses of the mind-body intervention strategies. Sind-body medicine focuses on the interactions among the brain, mind, body, and behavior, and encompasses a wide range of practices and therapies designed to facilitate the mind's capacity to treat the chronic health conditions, including depression and anxiety, pain, insomnia, and other disorders. Coverage includes a variety of approaches of mind–body practices that are thought to promote health as following: relaxation, massage, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, biofeedback, tai chi, qi gong, cognitive/behavioral therapy, spiritual beliefs and practices, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and so on.
