About This Topic

The regulation of emotions plays a pivotal role in building psychological resilience, which is essential for maintaining mental well-being, especially in times of stress and adversity. As the understanding of emotional processes evolves, there is a growing recognition of how effective emotion regulation can buffer against stress, reduce anxiety, and promote overall mental health. This special issue aims to provide a platform for exploring both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of emotion regulation strategies. By examining their role in enhancing resilience across diverse populations, this issue seeks to offer insights into culturally sensitive approaches, innovative therapeutic frameworks, and tailored interventions that can be applied in both clinical and everyday contexts. Authors are encouraged to contribute studies, reviews, and perspectives that deepen our understanding of these processes, highlighting pathways for integrating emotion regulation into holistic mental health care.
