Section Introduction

The section of the journal OBM Integrative and Complementary Medicine is devoted to publishing high-quality papers relevant to all aspects of acupuncture and moxibustion that are based on the theory of channels and collaterals in Chinese Sedicine. It covers all related basic science and clinical areas of dry needling, moxibustion techniques, acupuncture and acupressure, cupping, bloodletting, scraping, and auricular acupuncture. Acupuncture and moxibustion are age-old healing practice of traditional Chinese Sedicine in which are primarily used to relieve pain and treat other conditions, like tension headaches, migraine headaches, certain symptoms associated with cancer, sleep disorders and stroke. We welcome the topics about novel methodological and technical investigations of acupuncture and the studies concerning further enhancement and development of moxibustion.
