About This Topic
Environmental-related issues, its practical management and policy have become unprecedented environmental challenges, and therefore robust environmental management and policy has been more critical. This special issue on "Environmental Management and Policy" aims to delve into the multifaceted approaches and strategic frameworks essential for addressing the pressing ecological crises facing the planet earth. We invite contributions that explore innovative solutions, effective governance models, and cutting-edge research across a wide spectrum of environmental concerns, including climate change mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity conservation, pollution control, sustainable resource management, and the transition to circular economies. Our scope encompasses both theoretical advancements and practical applications, welcoming interdisciplinary perspectives that bridge the natural sciences, social sciences, economics, and law.
This special issue seeks to highlight the profound significance of integrating sound environmental policies with adaptive management practices. As global environmental degradation continues to accelerate, understanding the dynamics between human activities and ecological systems becomes paramount for fostering a sustainable future. We encourage submissions that shed light on policy effectiveness, implementation challenges, stakeholder engagement, and the socio-economic implications of environmental decisions. We also welcome other papers that address related environmental issues with clear evidence of their contribution to the topic.
