PRP contains a high concentration of platelets, growth factors, and cytokines involved in the healing process. This editorial paper aims to give an overview of PRP in regenerative medicine and its potential applications in various medical fields such as orthopedics, dentistry, dermatology, and wound healing. PRP can be integrated with other regenerative therapies, such as stem cell and gene therapy, to enhance tissue repair and regeneration. Therefore, PRP holds great promise as a regenerative medicine tool, and further research is needed to optimize its use and develop standardized protocols for its preparation and application.
