We developed a new approach for the fabrication of perovskite-based solar cells. In the smart stacking process, the perovskite solar cell was assembled by stacking two pieces of perovskite films prepared separately. A working perovskite solar cell was developed with PCE = 0.78% and the perovskite layer was analyzed with XRD and SEM. Our findings showed new ways to address some of the major fabrication challenges associated with the commercialization of perovskite solar cells.
