AB  - Oncologic patients are often suffering from side effects of conventional therapy such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. In order to support those patients, additive complementary medicine, such as homeopathy might be helpful. Several case reports as well as studies report beneficial effects of homeopathy in cancer patients. Furthermore, homeopathy may also be helpful with respect to improvement of quality of life (QoL). Another advantage is that homeopathic remedies can be combined with all sorts of conventional medicine, since there is no interference. Its ease of application makes it a perfect tool for those with severe side effects. In addition, it may help to positively influence mood and mind of patients. This issue focuses on case reports of individualized homeopathy.
